Spellbinder's Blog Hop Day One Winner!!!

OMGosh!  I was notified a while ago that I was a day one winner on the Spellbinders Blog Hop for the sneak peek of the new 2012 dies.  I was just over joyed! I just could not wait for my Spellbinders  dies to arrive.  Well folks, my gift arrived this weekend.  I got one of the best surprises I can remember in  quite sometime.  I won ALL the dies from day one! Hallelooyurrrr!  I was out doing yard work, when I saw the package.  Of course, everything came to a hault at that point.  I opened the box and could not believe my eyes.   I was so overwhelmed, I started to tear up like I won an Oscar.  After I gained my composure, I sat my goodies aside and finished my yard work. All the while thinking about the projects I wanted to try with my new dies. I was singing like the fat lady in the Opera. I think I finished the yard work in record time.   I have not had an opportunity to play with the new dies (life happens) but that is the definite plan this week (plus a 4 days weekend) .  I took a picture of the dies to show you all.  These are some beautiful dies and I know you will want to rush right out and purchase them.  For more photos and information on these and other Spellbinders products click on any of the hyperlinks.  The links will take you to the home page, be sure to check out the community tab.  There are some pretty amazing things going on at Spellbinders. Also, check out the gallery for some beautiful inspiring projects.

A BIGG TEXAS THANK YOU TO SPELLBINDERS!!!!

Closing the Games of the 30th Olympiad in London

Wow, that was the quickest 17 days that I can remember!  I can't believe the games are closed.  I didn't get to post as many Olympic projects as I had hoped.  However, I could not let the games close without posting just one more.  I coloured the "Olympic" stamp from Krista at Saturated Canary ( I named her Olympia).  And even though I did not make anything of her, I think she is just right to say good bye to the 2012 games.   I would also like to say, congratulations to ALL the athelets.  Although, everyone could not take home a medal, you are truly all winners and even better you are Olympians- the worlds best!!!   Thank you to Great Britian and well done on your 3rd hosting of the Olympic games, awesome job.   Well, I will keep this short, post my lil' Olympia and say good night to all.
